March 2, 2017 Moss Park

We worked in the AM then did a 2 hour round trip hike out to Bonnet Pond. We really understand why it is called Moss Park – beautiful moss hanging everywhere from huge oak trees.  Flat terrain like Pine Baron’s in South Jersey.

Headed back to civilization for a quick lunch snack and then some more shopping back at Walmarts. Back to the park for a few hours and then back to Nona Blue’s for dinner.  On way home from dinner in the very dark park Rick spotted and took a picture of our first armadillo.

There really is an armadillo here

  1. Oh boy what an adventure! I love that you saw an armadillo! I probably wouldn’t even recognize it if I saw it. The good thing is I bet they can’t run fast like me! Lol Enjoy every step of your trip! Thanks for the updates! Sue Fazio
